Albert Sheffield

[1] Child of William and Sarah is Harry, born abt. 1895 - Grama said he was her favorite cousin.

[2] Edward Newitt and Emily Hubbard were the witnesses to the marriage of Charles and Harriett. Children of Charles and Harriett are Henry b. abt. 1898 and George b. abt. 1900 (see footnote 3).

[3] Emily Hubbard, wife of Edward Newitt was born in 1871 and died in 1940 age 69. She is buried in the Thame Churchyard Cemetary next to her husband and near to her sister, Harriett, and Edward's brother, Charles.

[4] Albert H Rose was b. Abt. 1870 in Thorpe le Soken, Essex, England and d. December, 1950 in Uxbridge, Middlesex, England.

[5] Children of Frederick Jakes and Mary Newitt: Phyllis b abt. August 1911 and (twins) Frederick and Arthur Jakes b. 16 March 1913 in Southall, Middlesex. Phyllis* "married Fredrick Cleverly and had a son Terrence - she died between June 1996 and August 1997. Fredrick married Isabel Doris Sarah Fuller who lived in Ickenham and Fred and Isabel continued to live in Ickenham until their death - they had no children. Frederick died August 1997. Arthur was sent to live at Whirlbush Farm as a child for a few years. He was back with his parents by the age of 10 and living in Southall Middlesex. He died 1 June 1996."

[6] Alice Amelia Sheffield nee Newitt* "married and had a son called Ron (presumably Ronald). Her husband died when Ron was very young and she struggled to bring him up but never married again. I know that one of her sisters helped, I believe her name was Ginnie (do not know her birth name) and she had a tearoom near Hampton Court. I also believe she owned the house that Aunt Mil and Ron lived in Willoughby Road Kingston. Aunt Mil or Alice Amelia is buried in the churchyard at Thame over and between her parents grave she had requested to be buried in that churchyard but as there was no more space it was the only thing that could be done. I am sure none of them minded. Ron married after his mothers death and lived in Eastbourne until his death."
